March 4, 2008 - The Utah Jazz has had a number of incredible players on the team during the course of its history. During the 90's the Jazz acquired Jeff Hornacek and Greg Ostertag; two powerful players that could get a lot done in a short period of time.
During the mid-90's, the team was expected to go a lot farther than they did. They made it to the first round of playoffs during the 94-95 season, but lost to the Houston Rockets. In the following season, they made it to the conference finals and narrowly lost to the Seattle Supersonics.
The team in the 97-98 season consisted of Antoine Carr, Howard Eisley, Shandon Anderson, Greg Ostertag, Jeff Hornacek, John Stockton, and Jeff Malone. This was the season that the team had their best record in franchise history with 64-18. Although they didn't win against the Bulls during this season, Malone achieved the MVP for the regular season.
